Laurie Powell

Laurie directs the operations of the Studio Group and heads up the sales effort on studiodaily.com and its sister electronic products. She started with Access Intelligence in 2001 and has been involved in both sales and management on many of AI’s products including Film & Video; Tape Disc Business and Studio/monthly (formally AV Video Multimedia Producer). Laurie has 20 years of publishing and internet experience. She started her career in 1987 at Miller Freeman and held various roles in both sales and management. Her last position at Miller Freeman was publisher of the industry leading commercial real estate magazine, Commercial Property News.

Beth Marchant

Beth has more than 20 years of editorial experience at trade and consumer publications and has been covering the digital video and new media markets since 1996, when she joined Multimedia Producer as a senior editor. In addition to her coverage of the video production market, her articles and photographs have appeared in Yankee Magazine, Harvard Magazine and on the nationally syndicated Gannett News Service. A graduate of Hamilton College and London’s British and European Studies Group, she also holds an M.A. in English literature and film theory and is a past recipient of an Academy of American Poets prize. She is the founding editor-in-chief of Studio/monthly.

Matt Armstrong

Matt brings over a decade of hands-on and editorial experience to Studio Daily. A graduate from NYU’s Tisch Film School, he worked as a location sound mixer and sound designer before moving on as a newspaper journalist. Combing his writing talents with his film experience he became a reporter for Shoot Magazine, covering the commercial production industry. He then became the Associate Editor at Post Magazine, analyzing all aspects of film & television postproduction. Leaving to pursue freelance writing, he continued to write for Post for several years before becoming the Senior Online Editor for Studio Daily and Studio/monthly.

Jessica Clegg

Jessica joined Studio/monthly in 2007. She spent the previous three years in the media-technology division of Macmillan/McGraw-Hill Education, where she worked as an Editor. A graduate of Wellesley College and Columbia’s six-week Publishing Intensive, Jessica is a regular volunteer at the TriBeCa and Woodstock Film Festivals and a blogger for Bergencarroll.com, a community site devoted to the residents of Brooklyn’s Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Boerum Hill and Red Hook neighborhoods.

Bryant Frazer

Bryant studied journalism and film at the University of Colorado before relocating to New York to become a founding editor of the tabloid Bookselling This Week. In 1998, he joined Access Intelligence as the editor of DVD Report, a weekly newsletter dedicated to technology and business in the burgeoning DVD industry, then became technology editor of AV Video Multimedia Producer in 2000 and followed that with a stint as editor of Tape Disc Business. His writing has also appeared in the Boulder Daily Camera, the games-industry daily mmWire, and the online film journals Senses of Cinema and Apollo Movie Guide.
